Throwback to a Week of Climate Action!ย

From 6โ€“11 May 2025, we joined our partners in Rodalquilar, Spain for Green Leaders ErasmusPlus training course. Over six days, 23 youth workers and volunteers from different countries took part in sessions and field activities that connected participants to local nature, community action and practical youth work methods. The programme focused on non-formal education activities to strengthen skills and knowledge on climate change and environmental protection. Participants brainstormed new ideas, discovered new methods and co-created resources that they can use to engage youth on the topic and foster environmental awareness. Some of the main highlights of this experience: ๐Ÿ‘‰ A guided tour of the Botanic Garden to explore local biodiversity.๐Ÿ‘‰ A clean-up of the abandoned miner houses.๐Ÿ‘‰ Forum Theatre sessions on the challenges of involving youth in climate education.๐Ÿ‘‰Debates on how we can be adopt more sustainable practices to protect our planet.๐Ÿ‘‰The creation of four brand-new tools to help youth workers engage in environmental topics.
