And just like that, we’ve wrapped up the first part of EmpACT4 in Cabris, France. After a week filled with new insights, energisers, and moments of reflection, we’re leaving inspired and ready to put our commitments into action on the Road to Nea Makri, Greece, where we’ll reconnect for part two in May.
For many of our participants, the week provided an opportunity to deepen their existing knowledge and sharpen skills they’ve already been applying within their NGOs and youth projects. For others, almost everything covered was entirely new, including detailed project management techniques and the vast landscape of EU opportunities for youth.
During the second half of our training, we delved into key topics such as:
- Non-formal education: exploring roles of facilitators and participants, methods, settings, and essential tools.
- Project partnerships and 5 Working Groups (5WG): practical guidelines, best practices, and pitfalls to avoid.
- Priorities in European youth projects, specifically within Erasmus+ and ESC frameworks.
- Fundraising strategies and the diverse market of European funding opportunities.
As we say goodbye to Cabris, we’re leaving with powerful commitments and clear next steps. We look forward to seeing these commitments come to life in the weeks ahead and reuniting soon in the sunny coastal town of Nea Makri, Greece.
Until then, let’s turn these insights into action. See you soon in Greece!
