We’ve officially wrapped up part two of our EmpACT4 training course in beautiful Nea Makri, Greece. After an intensive week of learning, practicing, and reflecting, our participants are heading home equipped with enhanced skills, fresh insights, and a deeper understanding of facilitation in youth work.
During this week, participants stepped into the spotlight with our “Facilitators on the stage” activity, where they led 15 individual and co-facilitated sessions on a diverse array of topics, each session was thoughtfully designed and rooted in non-formal education methods. The activities were carefully evaluated, and the facilitators were provided with valuable insights to further hone their skills.
Some of the standout topics included:
- Giving & Receiving Effective Feedback
- Voting & Civic Engagement
- Video Editing with CapCut
- Sexual Education
- Question Crafting for Facilitators
- Exploring Identity through “The River of Life”
- Understanding and Addressing Gender-Based Violence
- Financial Management and Budgeting Skills
- Inclusion and Creating Inclusive Events
- Branding for Trainers
- Designing Activities for Erasmus+ Projects
- Practical Tips for Erasmus+ Project Submissions
And that’s just a glimpse, the actual thing was a lot more impressive! (You can revisit highlights from each session on our social media stories.)
We really hope to see our participants walking their facilitation paths, seeing their professional wishes and manifestations come true with future partnerships, increased skills, knowledge and an expended network of youth workers!
We’re truly proud of everyone’s commitment, enthusiasm, and growth throughout this journey.
